"My colleagues and I care for children with cancer and blood diseases from all over Oregon and southwest Washington. Families of these children are often under a great deal of stress and one of my primary goals is to help them cope with a very difficult situation. Even when we don’t have a cure for some diseases we continue to provide comfort for the patient and support for the family through our palliative care team."
