Biography
Dr. Silbert completed her neurology residency at UCLA and fellowship training in both Geriatric Neurology and Clinical Neurophsyiology at OHSU. Her research interests include the effects of subcortical white matter disease on age-related cognitive and motor slowing. She is currently investigating the use of MRI to measure volumetrics and cerebral blood flow changes in the white matter in the elderly. She previously studied the use of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) as a physiologic correlate of CNS processing change in the oldest old.
