Biography
Dr. Melanie Sauvain is the Medical Director for the Executive Evaluation Center at OHSU. She received her medical degree from The University of Washington in 1984, completed a residency in Internal Medicine at OHSU in 1987, and was awarded an M.S. in Epidemiology and Biostatistics in 2007. Her special clinical interests include Occupational Medicine and prevention and early diagnosis of disease. Her views on care are typified by the quote, "Our health in our older years is the sum total of the incremental gains or losses we have experienced during our lifetime." Dr. Sauvain is an avid athlete and gardener.
