Biography
Dr. Melanie Sauvain is the Medical Director for the Executive Evaluation Center at OHSU. She completed her medical training at University of Washington in 1984 and her Internal Medicine Residency at OHSU in 1987. Her special clinical interests include Occupational Medicine and prevention and early diagnosis of disease. Her views on care are typified by the quote, "Our health in our older years is the sum total of the incremental gains or losses we have experienced during our lifetime". Dr. Sauvain is an avid athlete, gardener and is currently completing a Masters Degree in Epidemiology and Biostatistics.
