Biography
Bill Rubine MS PT received his Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Columbia University in 2001, and was in private practice in New York for six years before moving to Portland with his family. Prior to becoming a physical therapist, he was a yoga teacher, and also had a background in adult education. Bill has studied manual physical therapy through post graduate coursework with the Institute of Physical Art, the Maitland Institute, the University of Saint Augustine, and the Hospital for Special Surgery. He believes that rehabilitation should be simple and practical, allowing patients to immediately apply what they learn in therapy to their daily lives. Toward this end, Bill emphasizes postural training and patient education, as well as manual therapy with all his patients.
