Biography
Dr. Roy is an Assistant Professor of Diagnostic Radiology. She joined OHSU in July 2010 and works primarily in the Breast Imaging and Body Imaging sections. Dr. Roy grew up in northwest Pennsylvania and then moved to the south where she attended a small liberal arts college in Memphis, TN followed by a research year at St. Jude Hospital, then medical school at University of Tennessee. She completed residency at University of Utah in 2008 and spent one year doing a combined breast and body imaging fellowship at OHSU and Utah. Dr. Roy and her colleagues in the Breast Imaging section are part of the multidisciplinary breast team at OHSU, composed of specialists in breast imaging, breast surgery, medical oncology, radiation oncology, genetic counseling, and breast health nurses. She is proud to be part of a group so committed to providing high quality care to the breast patients at OHSU. She reads mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI and performs image-guided procedures with all modalities. Dr. Roy enjoys working with trainees and educating medical students and residents about breast imaging and management of breast disease. When not in the Breast Center Dr. Roy works in ultrasound, chest, and body imaging and enjoys reading imaging exams and performing a vast array of ultrasound guided procedures and fluoroscopy on these services.
