Biography
Dr. Rice specializes in caring for children and teens with heart problems. Her areas of expertise in pediatric cardiology are echocardiography, fetal cardiology (diagnosing heart problems before birth) and seeing heart kids locally throughout the state of Oregon. She has been at OHSU since 1983. This has allowed her to watch these kids grow up, graduate from high school, go to college, get married and even have children of their own. This is the most rewarding part of her career and it's a priviledge to be part of their lives. When not working, she enjoys reading, gourmet cooking, gardening, travel and spending time with her husband and their families.
