Biography
Dr. Rasanen has a special interest in maternal-fetal medicine, perinatology and fetal ultrasound. His current research focuses on fetal cardiovascular hemodynamics. Dr. Rasanen chose to pursue a career in medicine because it offered him the opportunity to help people and to learn more about the complexity of the human body. Born in Oulu, Finland, Dr. Rasanen moved to Portland and joined OHSU because of our excellent research environment for fetal cardiovascular physiology. In his leisure time, he enjoys outdoor activities.
