Biography
Dr. Polensek received her medical degree and completed her pediatric residency including a year as chief resident at OHSU, finishing in 1994. From 1995-2000 she served on the pediatric faculty at the OHSU Sellwood Moreland Health Center before embarking on a 5 year journey to various parts of the globe. She has worked in American Samoa, India and Peru and is interested in cross cultural medicine. She is involved as a volunteer at Outside In in downtown Portland and with Health Bridges International, serving the people of Peru. She speaks French and dabbles in Spanish and loves foreign films. She spends a great deal of time with her family as a doting auntie.
