Biography
Dr. Patton has a special interest in the general investigation and care of infertility and endocrine disturbances in women as well as in vitro fertilization, third party reproduction, recurrent pregnancy loss and polycystic ovary syndrome. His research focuses on ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome, vasoactive and growth factors in polycystic ovaries and analysis of IVF success rates. Dr. Patton chose his specialty because it enables him to assist women with complex pregnancy and infertility issues. His favorite part of his job is giving families good news. A native Oregonian, born in Portland, Dr. Patton received his medical education in New Orleans and joined OHSU in 1986. In his leisure time, he enjoys biking and related exercise and fly-fishing. Dr. Patton also loves spending time with his family.
