Biography
Beth specializes in family medicine and primary care. She takes special interest in sports medicine and preventative health care. Prior to joining the family medicine team, Beth worked with the OHSU orthopedic surgery and sports medicine practice. Her keen interest in healthy living and preventative care were honed as a backcountry ski guide, climbing ranger, wild-land firefighter, and remote medicine EMT, before attending PA school at OHSU. She believes in using the best evidence possible to support her practice and decision making for patients of all ages. A 14-year resident of Portland and born and bred in the Pacific Northwest, Beth loves to spend time outside of the office on her bike or skis. She is particularly fond of cyclocross and mountain bike racing, and pursues an active racing career outside of PA practice. She loves to adventure with her partner, Matt, and their incredibly curious cat, Sahalie.
