Biography
Dr. Molloy joined the OHSU Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery in the Fall of 2010 as the director of the OHSU Cardiac Robotic Surgery Program. Dr. Molloy is also the medical director of cardiothoracic surgery at Adventist Medical Center. He earned his undergraduate and medical degrees at Stanford University in Stanford, CA and Dartmouth Medical School in Hanover, NH. Dr. Molloy has extensive minimally invasive and robotic assisted cardiac surgery experience applied to heart valve surgery and atrial fibrillation ablation surgery. These approaches offer the potential for better outcomes, less discomfort, and faster recovery for complex cardiothoracic procedures. He has performed more than 3,400 open-heart procedures including more than 1200 valve procedures and welcomes referrals for general cardiac surgical procedures, including coronary bypass and thoracic aortic surgery.
