About me
I am an orthopedic surgeon providing comprehensive care for upper extremity conditions. I treat everything from fingertip injuries to complex shoulder problems. My goal is to help patients regain function, reduce pain and return to the activities that matter most to them, using both surgical and non-surgical treatment options tailored to each individual.
I truly enjoy educating patients about their condition so they can make informed, confident decisions about their care. When surgery is needed, I take great pride in using my skills to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives and lifestyles. Building trust, communicating clearly and working together as a team are central to my approach.
I have been part of OHSU for nearly 20 years, where I have had the privilege of caring for patients with some of the most complex and challenging conditions. I value teaching and learning alongside students, colleagues and patients, and I strive to use my experience and knowledge to guide each person along their path to recovery.
Outside of work, I enjoy playing in a heavy metal band, motorcycle riding, camping and video games. Most of all, I value spending time with my family.

Insurance
Before scheduling an appointment
- Check your network. If you have health insurance, call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
- Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.
If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

Great team. Good options.
My doctor answered all my questions and provides me with resolution. I believe I get the very best care and He shows empathy and concern appropriately. I wouldn't want to be with any other ortho.

They were great
Dr. Mirarchi operated on my dislocated shoulder with damaged rotator cuff some years ago, with excellent outcome. I was referred to him with a hand injury by another orthopedist. Dr. Mirarchi is friendly, personal. He is also an excellent teacher to his residents.
