"I am honored to work with such a special population of families. The cystic fibrosis community is like an extended family to me and I truly enjoy coming to work each day."
Biography
Ben has worked with the cystic fibrosis community throughout his 20+ years in nursing, first as an inpatient nurse in internal medicine, and now as the RN coordinator for over 200 patients in Oregon and SW Washington. He enjoys working with kids and their families, helping them learn, understand, and cope with this challenging disease, and he loves the unique experience of developing long-term relationships with families. Outside of work, Ben enjoys spending time with his wife, another nurse who also works at OHSU. They love traveling to exotic locations, hiking, bicycling, and exploring all that Portland has to offer.
