Biography
Dr. Timothy Liem is an Associate Professor of Surgery at Oregon Health & Science University. He received an undergraduate degree in Biomechanical Engineering from the University of California at San Diego, and he received his medical degree from the University of Southern California. He completed his general surgery training at Kaiser Foundation Hospitals, and his vascular surgery fellowship at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Dr. Liem is Board Certified in General Surgery and Vascular Surgery. He is a member of the Society for Vascular Surgery, the Midwestern Vascular Surgical Society, the Western Vascular Society, the International Society for Thrombosis and Hemostasis, and Alpha Omega Alpha. He is on the Editorial Board and a reviewer for numerous medical journals, and he has published over 30 book chapters and peer-reviewed articles.
