"Rheumatologic diseases can be very challenging to diagnose, but making those diagnoses and providing symptomatic relief through appropriate treatment is very gratifying. I enjoy the long-term care of patients with these often mysterious-sounding diseases, and helping the patients and their families better understand the illness and its management."
