About me

Dmitriy Rakhlin received his nursing training at the OHSU School of Nursing and then earned his masters degree in the OHSU Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program in 2002. He has a solid background in acute inpatient, outpatient, and community-based psychiatric settings. In 1998, he joined the OHSU Intercultural Psychiatric Program to provide clinical case management, individual and family psychotherapy, medication management, and psychiatric assessments for clients from diverse ethnic, cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.

Since 1995, he has also volunteered his skills as an interpreter and cultural advocate to assist Russian and Ukrainian refugees with resettlement through the Russian Oregon Social Services Program of the Ecumenical Ministries of Oregon. He is fluent in the Russian language. Mr. Rakhlin is a member of Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society.
