About me

Dr. Hwang specializes in retinal disease and vitreoretinal surgery. He received his M.D. from the University of California, San Diego, and completed a residency in ophthalmology at Wilmer Eye Institute, Johns Hopkins University. He completed a fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery at Casey Eye Institute, OHSU. His clinical and research interests include macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and ocular trauma.
