She settled in Portland in 1990 with her husband, raising their 2 daughters while working in midwifery. Sally is the Nurse-Midwifery Practice Manager.
In her leisure time, Sally sings in a small women's vocal ensemble and loves to garden and cook.
PREGNANCY AND CHILDBIRTH PHILOSOPHY
"All of the nurse-midwives at OHSU work towards empowering women during pregnancy, labor and birth. We do this by listening to our patients and respecting their concerns and ideas. We provide personalized, individual attention and encourage women to be well-informed and involved in decision-making about their care."
