"I think everyone has a personal sense of what health means to them. I look forward to partnering with my patients to help them achieve their health goals."
As a native Oregonian I am thrilled to serve my home state and local community as member of OHSU’s Family Medicine Program. I believe that health and wellbeing are life-long pursuits that are unique to each individual. I am excited to partner with patients, families and communities of all types to help them maintain a high quality of life. As a former teacher and nanny I particularly look forward to working with children and families as they pursue a life of love, health and growth. I believe in building a strong health foundation with good food, plenty of sleep, healthy social environments and moderate exercise. While preventing injury and illness is always the primary goal, I also look forward to being there for my patients when they need more intensive and acute care.
As a family medicine doctor, I greatly value building long-term therapeutic partnerships with my patients. I consider it a gift and a duty to help each of my patients achieve their personal health goals from birth to their final years.
I spent the first eight years of my life living in SE Portland and then proceeded to move around the country and world with my family. I completed my high school and undergraduate education in New England before coming back to Oregon to study medicine at OHSU. In my free time I like to explore new places by foot and bike, cook overly spiced food and bask in Oregon’s natural beauty from the rugged coast to the high desert!
