Biography

Dr. Sibley is a rheumatologist with clinical interests that include autoinflammatory diseases, Behçet's syndrome and vasculitis in addition to caring for patients with general rheumatologic conditions.  Prior to joining the faculty at OHSU, she worked at the National Institutes of Health studying the role of bacteria as well as an inflammatory mediator, interleukin-1, in the development of autoinflammation and Behçet's syndrome.  Her current research interests include translational studies to better understand the triggers of rheumatologic diseases and clinical trials of novel therapeutics in the treatment of vasculitis.  She is the director of the multidisciplinary OHSU vasculitis clinic that was initiated in 2013 to offer patients specialized clinical care and opportunities to participate in clinical trials.  Dr. Sibley enjoys photography, gardening, hiking, running, yoga and spending time with her family including her husband and young son.
