Michael Hendricks earned a B.A. in Psychology at University of California, Berkeley. He then spent two years doing post-bac study at the University of Southern California and a year as a research assistant on an endocrine project before entering medical school at USC. Michael also assisted with Neuroscience research and an NIH-sponsored Radiology Oncology research project that studied the ability of PET-CT to predict prostate cancer disease course. He spent time volunteering at a number of charity events to benefit St. Jude Children’s Hospital and teaching safe-practice classes on birth control, STDs, pre-natal care, and drugs & alcohol for at-risk youth. His work experience includes volunteer instruction with Los Angeles Juvenile Hall and program instruction for first-year medical students as part of the Medical Scholars Program at USC. After graduating from USC, Michael did a preliminary Internal Medicine internship in 2010-11 before entering a Radiology residency in July 2011. He has career interests in Endocrinology and Hematology/Oncology.
