Dr. Edgington`s specialties are cornea and external diseases and cataract surgery. Dr. Edgington received his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 2001. He completed his residency at the George Washington University in Washington, DC and his Cornea and External Disease fellowship at Tufts New England Medical Center and the Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston. Prior to entering medical school Dr. Edgington was in the Peace Corps in Vanuatu, South Pacific. He continues to volunteer his time internationally, having done surgery and given lectures to ophthalmologists in Viet Nam, India, Bolivia, Honduras, Ecuador, Ghana, and the Philippines. Dr. Edgington spends the bulk of his clinical and surgical time teaching ophthalmology residents and fellows at both the Portland VA Medical Center and the Casey Eye Institute. In his free time he enjoys exploring new places, both locally and internationally.
