Dr. Burdick spends most of his professional time in the emerging field of clinical informatics, the intersection between patient care and computer information systems. He serves as the Chief Medical Informatics Officer at OCHIN and participates in related research. He sees patients one day per week at the OHSU Family Medicine clinic in Scappoose. He has volunteered at the local and national levels in wilderness and disaster medicine. He completed his first marathon at age 45 and is now training for triathlons. Most of all, he enjoys time in the outdoors with his family.
