About me

Lisa Bayer, M.D., M.P.H. is a generalist obstetrician and gynecologist and a complex family planning sub-specialist. Her interests include family planning, contraception, adolescent gynecology, alternatives to hysterectomy, and office-based procedures. Her favorite part of being an Ob/Gyn is caring for her patients throughout all walks of life, from adolescence through menopause, including some of the most important life moments. Although not a native of Portland, Dr. Bayer considers herself an Oregonian at heart and loves all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer. In her spare time, Dr. Bayer enjoys exploring new hikes, reading fiction, trying new recipes, and spending time with her husband and children.

Insurance

Before scheduling your appointment, we recommend you contact your insurance company to verify that the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is included in your network. Your insurance company will also be able to inform you of any copayments, co–insurance, or deductibles that will be your responsibility. If you proceed in scheduling an appointment and your health insurance benefits do not participate with OHSU providers, your out of pocket liability may be higher. Visit the billing and insurance section of our site for more information.
