"I love taking care of babies in the NICU; helping babies and their families through difficult situations is both humbling and incredibly rewarding."
Dr. Anderson specializes in newborn intensive care medicine where she takes care of small preemies and sick babies. As a neonatologist in the Doernbecher Neonatal Care Center her clinical interests include neonatal resuscitation and stabilization. She has been recognized as one of Portland’s Best Doctors in Neonatology the past several years. She is board certified in both Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. Dr. Anderson is passionate about newborn care; through intensive simulation-based training programs she works to optimize transition after birth for the tiniest babies. As the Director of Simulation Education for the Department of Pediatrics, she focuses on crisis resource management behaviors and improving team performance through simulation-based curricula.
As a native Oregonian she appreciates all the Northwest has to offer; camping, hiking, biking, skiing, and rafting. She enjoys spending her spare time with family.
