About me

Kelly developed a special interest in genetics during her undergraduate studies. Upon graduation, she moved to Portland and worked in a research laboratory investigating gene therapy for inborn errors of metabolism. Based on her clinical and laboratory experiences, she decided to pursue a career in genetic counseling. She has been working as a genetic counselor with the Department of Molecular Medical Genetics and the Knight Cancer Institute since 2007. In her spare time, Kelly enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, her friends, and being outdoors. Having grown up on the East coast, she travels cross country as often as possible. She enjoys the Northwest and the outdoor activities it has to offer, particularly camping with her family.

Insurance

Before scheduling your appointment, we recommend you contact your insurance company to verify that the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is included in your network. Your insurance company will also be able to inform you of any copayments, co–insurance, or deductibles that will be your responsibility. If you proceed in scheduling an appointment and your health insurance benefits do not participate with OHSU providers, your out of pocket liability may be higher. Visit the billing and insurance section of our site for more information.
