- Accepting Patients:
"Glaucoma is a particularly challenging disease because there are no symptoms early on. To me, open communication is a key ingredient in any doctor-patient relationship. I will take the time to explain the reasons for and goals of treatment and answer any questions. In return, I hope my patients will freely discuss with me any concerns or barriers they encounter along the way. Together, we will work as a team to provide the best quality, individualized care."
Dr. Parikh specializes in adult glaucoma, including complicated glaucoma and cataract surgeries. She grew up on the East coast, and has slowly moved westward, completing her residency and fellowship training in the Midwest. Glaucoma, in particular, piqued her interest because of the focus on patient education that is essential to proper care. In addition, she enjoys the long-term relationships built with her patients.
