"The decision to proceed with egg donation can be difficult, with highs and lows throughout the process. I feel privileged to help make the process go as smoothly as possible by providing outstanding egg donor candidates who meet the needs and expectations of our recipient families."
Lauren Jacobs, M.S.W, is the coordinator of the Egg Donor Program at OHSU. In her role, she recruits, orients and manages the relationship of potential and actual ovum donors who are interested in donating their eggs confidentially to other patients. In coordination with the fertility clinical team, Lauren helps recipient families understand the egg donation process and select their egg donor to use for IVF.
Lauren has over ten years of social work experience in a variety of settings. As part of University Fertility Consultants, she is pleased to provide consistent and outstanding customer service to patients and donors. She strives to provide thorough information and excellent coordination of care for each patient and potential egg donor.
In her spare time, Lauren enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband who is a family law attorney, and her two children. Between soccer, swimming, piano and Spanish, her kids’ schedules keep her very busy. When she does have time to herself, she enjoys catching up with friends, hiking, and reading.
