"A new science of neuroplasticity is fast developing. I particularly enjoy and am excited to work as a physical therapist at this time in history. New concepts and evidence based research are being applied to help neurological patients make fuller recovery or slow progression of symptoms."
Andrea is involved in research which will help to shed light on exercise as protective in delaying the progression of Parkinson’s disease and the causes of falls in MS. When at work, she enjoys patient treatment above all else and has been instrumental in developing high intensity models of rehabilitation at OHSU for persons with stroke, brain injury and Parkinson’s disease. She loves to travel and bike ride.
