Biography
Ms. Hunter’s philosophical approach is humanistic, that is, her practice focuses on the potential of the individual to actively choose and purposefully decide about matters related to his or her environment. Through support and collaboration, the therapeutic process works to help clients increase personal awareness, clarify goals and eliminate barriers to achieving these goals. Ms. Hunter has experience working in community mental health centers, crisis services, and both outpatient and residential substance addiction programs.
