Biography
Dr. Girard is the Associate Dean for Graduate and Continuing Medical Education at OHSU's School of Medicine. He has served on the faculty of OHSU's School of Medicine since 1975 and is active in patient care, teaching and academic pursuits. Girard received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston in 1969. He completed his residency and chief residency in internal medicine at OHSU, as well as in internal medicine at St. Joseph Hospital University of Texas Medical School and King County Hospital (Harborview Hospital) at the University of Washington, Seattle. He is board certified in internal medicine.
