Biography
Dr. Deveney specializes in gastrointestinal and laparascopic surgery. His clinical interests include GI motility, gastroesophageal reflux disease, stomach cancer and esophageal cancer. Dr. Deveney received his medical degree at the University of California, San Francisco, in 1969. He is board certified in Surgery and ICU Care. Dr. Deveney, who heads the Division of General Surgery, is fluent in Spanish and German. He is part of our successful bariatric surgery team and performs procedures such as gastric bypass.
