"I love taking care of kids with heart problems because it is intellectually stimulating, technically challenging and emotionally rewarding. Every time I see a child with a problem, I ask myself what I would do if one of my daughters had the same condition."
Biography
Dr. Balaji specializes in caring for kids with heart problems. He has advanced training in heart rhythm problems (conditions that make the heart too fast, too slow or pose risk of death from rhythm problems). Dr. Balaji finds it extremely rewarding to work with kids and their families because he can help them, make them better, and watch them grow up as he sees them at follow up. In his spare time, Dr. Balaji enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife and two daughters. When he does get some time to himself, he enjoys reading, writing, hiking and watching old movies.
