"I feel fortunate to have a job that is so dynamic - to be in a position to provide injury care and education to the high school student. I strive to empower them to better understand themselves as athletes and as students. Nothing is better than to see their smile the day they return to their sport."
Biography
Ms. Baker, Exercise Specialist, is one of the certified athletic trainers in the Sports Medicine program at OHSU. She primarily provides sports medicine services to area high schools. When she is not in the training room or on the sidelines of a sporting event, she supports the Sports and Spine outpatient physical therapy staff at the Center for Health and Healing. Although she predominately works with high school-aged student-athletes, she has done continuing education work focusing on special populations, including fall prevention in seniors and exercise programming for those with diabetes and cardiovascular conditions. Juliet shares her love of athletics by umpiring womens lacrosse, a sport she played at her undergraduate institution.
