Biography
Dr. Ames grew up on a dairy farm in Wisconsin. She chose a career in medicine because it combines her love of science and people. She specializes in high-risk obstetrics and fetal ultrasound. She is committed to helping patients navigate complex issues to achieve a healthy pregnancy and childbirth for both mom and baby. Her current research focuses on prenatal diagnosis, fetal intervention, and liver disease in pregnancy. In her spare time, Dr. Ames enjoys gardening on her farm, researching her family tree, and playing with her four kids and two dogs.
