OHSU Pharmacy Residency Informational Webinars

This postgraduate year two (PGY2) Pharmacy Informatics Residency Program is designed to provide the resident with exposure to clinical informatics at Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU), providing in-depth training and insight into the principles of Pharmacy Informatics and health information technology (HIT).

The resident will actively participate in:

  • Informatics project management and technology assessment
  • Integrated electronic health record (EHR) design and maintenance
  • Clinic decision support
  • Drug information and policy
  • Medication safety
  • Student and resident teaching
  • End-user training
  • Automation/technology
  • Vendor relations

Residents will regularly attend meetings (in and outside the Department) and complete assigned projects under the guidance of the preceptors. Successful residents will become clinical informatics leaders and pioneers in this nascent Pharmacy Practice specialty.
