PGY2 Pharmacy Informatics
The resident learning experience will consist of the resident actively participating in:
- Informatics project management and technology assessment
- Integrated electronic health record (EHR) design and maintenance
- Clinic decision support
- Drug information and policy
- Medication safety
- Student and resident teaching
- End-user training
- Automation/technology
- Vendor relations
Residents will regularly attend meetings (in and outside the Department) and complete assigned projects under the guidance of the preceptors. Successful residents will become clinical informatics leaders and pioneers in this nascent Pharmacy Practice specialty.
