PGY2 Health System Pharmacy Administration
The post graduate year two (PGY2) OHSU Health-System Pharmacy Administration Residency is a structured one year program designed to provide concentrated training in the administration of health-system pharmacy. The resident will obtain advanced knowledge and expertise in pharmacy administrative, management, and leadership activities.
The resident learning experience will consist of the resident actively participating in:
- Managing and communicating information in an interdisciplinary setting
- Information technology, automation, and project management
- Precept Doctor of Pharmacy clerkship students
- Medication Safety programming and development
- Professional development and leadership
- Inpatient operations
- Retail ambulatory operations, including Specialty Pharmacy
- Senior management and strategy
- Vendor supply chain management
