PGY2 Health System Pharmacy Administration

The post graduate year two (PGY2) OHSU Health-System Pharmacy Administration Residency is a structured one year program designed to provide concentrated training in the administration of health-system pharmacy. The resident will obtain advanced knowledge and expertise in pharmacy administrative, management, and leadership activities.


The resident learning experience will consist of the resident actively participating in:
  • Managing and communicating information in an interdisciplinary setting
  • Information technology, automation, and project management
  • Precept Doctor of Pharmacy clerkship students
  • Medication Safety programming and development
  • Professional development and leadership
  • Inpatient operations
  • Retail ambulatory operations, including Specialty Pharmacy
  • Senior management and strategy
  • Vendor supply chain management
