Jason Timothy Wong, Pharm.D.
PGY2 Health-System Pharmacy Administration Resident
Dr. Wong is originally from Orange County, California. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in General Biology at the University of California San Diego, received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree at California Northstate University, and is currently pursuing his Masters of Business Administration degree in Executive Leadership at Oregon State University. His pharmacy practice interests include organizational effectiveness, leadership development, people analytics, and safety. Dr. Wong's major research project involves implementing a pediatric antimicrobial stewardship program in Doernbecher Children's Hospital to meet the Joint Commission standards. Outside of residency, he enjoys CrossFit, surfing, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
Kristy Thi Nguyen, Pharm.D., M.B.A.
PGY1 Health-System Pharmacy Administration Resident
Dr. Nguyen is originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Physiology with minors in Biology, Microbiology, and Spanish from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus. Onto the east coast, she received her Doctor of Pharmacy and Masters in Business Administration degrees from Western New England University College of Pharmacy and College of Business in Springfield, Massachusetts. Currently, she is pursuing her Masters of Science in Healthcare Administration at Oregon Health & Science University. In this upcoming year, Dr. Nguyen's major project will be evaluating the impact of daily formal evaluation of appropriate laboratory monitoring on overall costs. Her current pharmacy practice interests include but are not limited to organizational behavior and management, quality improvement, technology and innovation, and professional advancement. Outside of residency, she enjoys petting all permissible dogs.
