Research and Training

The OHSU Comprehensive Pain Center is the only academic pain center in Oregon. Through the Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine department, we offer opportunities to grow expertise and build resources through translational biomedical research.

Fellowship program

We offer four, one-year ACGME accredited fellowship positions for board eligible or certified anesthesiologists, neurologists, physiatrists and psychiatrists in pain medicine. The goal of the fellowship program is for the fellow to be exposed to the advanced interdisciplinary evaluation and management of acute, chronic, and cancer-related pain, and to procedures related to the treatment of these patients.
