2011 Annual Musculoskeletal Update for Primary Care

Urgencies & Emergencies in Musculoskeletal Medicine

This course is designed to help address emergencies encountered in musculoskeletal medicine such as polyarticular flare in RA, worsening SOB in a scleroderma patient, vasculitis, chest pain and seizures in a lupus patient, tendon infections & ruptures, sideline emergencies, acute pain, etc.
The program will include presentation of interesting cases and panel discussions led by faculty from OHSU’s Division of Arthritis and Rheumatic Diseases and Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation, and workshops on joint injections.
