WHAT'S NEW IN THE LAB

The Cepheid GeneXpert analyzer, a new instrument which performs real-time PCR testing within one to two hours, went live with C. difficile toxin B gene on August 25. This test is performed on samples that give indeterminate results by our EIA screening method.
