A team approach is crucial for solving difficult medical problems that are too complex for scientists working in any single discipline to solve alone.

Our multidisciplinary, multinational team of scientists  is a true representation of this vision. Our cardiologists, engaged in active clinical and basic research collaborate on a daily basis with a biochemist, biophysicist, mathematician and a computer scientist.

We also collaborate with experts in other OHSU areas as well: engineering, cancer research, reproductive health, optics and lasers, anesthesiology, and brain research.
