Spina Bifida
Our Spina Bifida team at the Child Development and Rehabilitation Center cares for patients of all ages with neural tube defects. We are dedicated to maintaining your child’s best possible health, preventing secondary disability and maximizing your child’s potential to participate in society.
We also provide prenatal counseling, if your baby has had a prenatal diagnosis of neural tube defects , to help prepare you for delivery, infant care, and ongoing management.
You and your child have access to complete care from our team of experts, including:
- Developmental pediatrician
- Pediatric nurse practitioner
- Register nurse
- Medical social worker
- Physical therapist
Your care may also include consultations with other Doernbecher specialists in neurosurgery, urology, occupational therapy, special education, psychology, audiology and speech therapy.
