Genetics and Birth Defects

At the Genetics and Birth Defects Clinic at the Child Development and Rehabilitation Center, we work with your child’s doctor to help diagnose and care for genetic disorders. We are dedicated to providing you and your child the most complete and advanced care.

Our team of board certified clinical geneticists and genetic counselors are specially trained in a variety of areas, including:

  • Dysmorphology
  • Cytogenetics
  • Biochemical disorders
  • Molecular genetics.

You have access to a wide range of services, including:

  • Medical, psychosocial and reproductive counseling
  • Developmental assessment
  • Consultation with experts in cardiology, neurology, dermatology, developmental pediatrics, genetic ophthalmology, pediatric cardiology, endocrinology and neurology
  • Specialized laboratory services through the DNA diagnostic, cytogenetic and biochemical genetics laboratories.
