Medical Social Worker, Care Management

I have been employed as a social worker at OHSU and Doernbecher Hospitals since 2005. Currently, I provide social work services to the out-patient pediatric clinics. I am very pleased to be a part of the CAT, because I believe we have the opportunity to influence change throughout the hospital system with respect to disenfranchised populations. It was the field of social work’s dedication to social justice that brought me to my career choice, and it is the CAT’s dedication to social justice that made me want to participate with the team. Striving toward social justice means advocating and working toward an understanding of equality and valuing human rights. In my free time, I like to read, travel, and spend time with friends.
