Social Worker, Care Management

I am a clinical social worker and have worked with adult patients and their families in the hospital setting for approximately 20 years. It was clear to me from the beginning of my time here, that OHSU served patients of diverse backgrounds. I believe that experiencing the fullness and richness of cultural diversity enhances our lives.

Being a member of the CAT offers an opportunity to work with a group of talented people committed to helping OHSU become increasingly sensitive and responsive to the cultural needs of its patients. It also promotes a diverse workforce.

I am especially interested in the traditional cultures of Asia, Africa and the Middle East. I find much joy in intercultural events and the worlds of art and music.
