Associate Professor, Family Medicine – Richmond
I have been a family physician at OHSU’s Richmond Clinic and an associate professor in the Department of Family Medicine since 1996. I am very excited to serve on the CAT because I feel that addressing issues of diversity and inclusion in our workplaces and with our patients is extremely important. Assuring access for everyone to quality, affordable healthcare is an essential part of social justice, and through my work with the CAT I know that I can help OHSU make progress in this aspect of our mission. I am especially interested in improving the experience of LGBT patients and employees.
My professional interests include health disparities and care for the underserved, women’s health including maternity care, adolescent health, chronic disease management and medical education.
I enjoy hiking, music and eating, and spending time with my partner.
