The Surgical Weight Reduction Program at OHSU is the premier academic clinical weight loss program in the Northwest. We serve over 300 patients per year, and perform more than 250 operations for morbid obesity per year. We provide multidisciplinary care for patients with obesity and metabolic disease. Our surgical outcomes are outstanding, and significantly better than national averages. We hold Center of Excellence Status from the American College of Surgeons. We also provide expert consultation to patients and providers at a national level.
