4th Annual PNW Diabetes Summit Benefits Individuals with Type 1 & Type 2 Diabetes
4th annual diabetes summit 2011 enjoyed by all
On November 19, 2011, over 130 individuals with type 1 and type 2 diabetes and their loved ones converged on the Oregon Health & Science University Center for Health & Healing in Portland, Oregon to connect with one another and with local and national experts in the management of diabetes.
The 4th Annual Pacific Northwest Diabetes Summit, sponsored by the Harold Schnitzer Diabetes Health Center, capped off an outstanding week of diabetes related events associated with PNW Diabetes Week.
Summit participants were treated to a wonderful day of fun, learning and sharing that was organized and facilitated by an outstanding group of clinicians, researchers, physicians and individuals with type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Feedback from Summit participants was overwhelmingly positive, and we look forward to offering our fifth installment of the Pacific Northwest Diabetes Summit in 2012.
