8:30am registration opens; 9:30am walk begins

AIM at Melanoma and SolSurvivors, a local not-for-profit, will be hosting a community walk to raise awareness of skin cancer. All proceeds will support the Melanoma Tissue Bank Consortium.

Learn about the people behind the scars, their journey and what they've learned about themselves, this disease and their hopes for the future.

    • Short scientific talks by OHSU Knight Cancer Institute physicians and expert guest speakers will provide an overview of the latest advances in melanoma prevention, risk and genetics, local and systemic treatment. Keynote presentation from:

        Associate Director, Ludwig Center for Cancer Immunotherapy

      • These talks are directed towards medical professionals and therefore are discussed in medical and scientific language. However, all attendees are welcome to attend any or all portions of the event. A special Q&A session by the speakers will be tailored to the patient/community audience (11:30a - 12:30p).
